Overview

The Communications Engineering Group, located in Covington, Louisiana, is home to the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Wireless RF Communications Engineering Product Development Center. This center is dedicated to the design, development and testing of sophisticated AMI Communication Radios and Network System products and enhancements for use with water, electric and gas utility meters.

The 6,000 square foot facility, comprised of office and laboratory space, is where 15 highly trained professionals work together in development of the Sensus AMI products and features of the future.
